Privacy policy
Placeholder policy — pending full legal review.
What we collect
When you create an account, we store your name, email address, and password. When you write a review, raise a support ticket, or bookmark a host, that activity is linked to your account so you can manage it later.
How it's used
- To let you sign in and manage your account, reviews, tickets, and saved hosts.
- To let hosting providers respond to tickets you raise about them.
- To moderate reviews and listing requests before they go live.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Google sign-in
If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from your Google account to create or match you to a trusthost.org account. We don't receive your Google password.
Your choices
You can update your display name and email address at any time from your account settings. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us through a support ticket or email [email protected].
Newsletter
If you subscribe to email updates, we store your email address for that sole purpose and use it to send you new hosting guides, reviews, and site announcements. We don't sell or share it with third parties. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, or you can email [email protected] to be removed.
Changes to this policy
This is a placeholder policy while trusthost.org is in development and will be replaced with a complete, legally reviewed version before public launch.
