Rankings aren't for sale
No hosting company can pay for a better score, a higher position, or a removed warning. Affiliate relationships are commercial arrangements for referral traffic only — they never factor into a host's trust score, rating, or ranking. See our full affiliate disclosure.
Every review is moderated
Community reviews are written by account holders and held as pending until our team approves them. We allow one review per account per host, and reviews under a minimum length are rejected outright, to keep ratings from being stuffed by a single voice.
Listings are vetted, not self-served
Hosting companies can't register themselves directly. A provider requests a listing, our team reviews the request, and only approved companies get a profile and a dashboard. Read more on how listings work.
Bad actors get flagged, not deleted
When a host is found to be engaging in fraud, dishonest billing, or other serious misconduct, we mark it as blacklisted with a stated reason rather than quietly removing it. Blacklisted hosts stay visible for transparency but are never ranked among recommended hosts, regardless of sort order.
Where the data comes from
trusthost.org is under active development. Some scores and review volumes are currently illustrative while our verified testing pipeline is built out, and this is disclosed on every host page. Our testing approach is detailed in our methodology.
