Who this applies to

Anyone who creates an account, writes a review, or flags a review on trusthost.org. By submitting a review or a flag, you agree to follow these guidelines in addition to our terms of service.

Writing a review

Flagging a review

If you believe a published review is fake, spam, offensive, or factually wrong, you can flag it directly from the host's page. We ask you to pick a category and explain why — vague or bad-faith reports (flagging a review just because you disagree with the opinion, or flagging in bulk to suppress legitimate criticism) may result in your flagging privileges being restricted.

What happens if you break these rules

Depending on severity, we may remove the content in question, warn the account, or suspend it entirely. Hosting companies found manipulating reviews (theirs or a competitor's) risk removal from the directory or a permanent blacklist — see our editorial principles for how that process works.
